1. What does it mean to you?
What my poem means to me is how I view my brain as a toolbox. My brain is what helps me distinguish myself from the rest. Each tool and ability inside my brain is unique and it helps me achieve my goals.
2. Why were you the proudest of this piece?
This is my proudest piece because it's my first metaphorical poem that I've done and understood what it's like to write poems.
3. Why did you choose this poem?
I could have chosen any other poem that I have done throughout the semester but this one caught my eye the most. One thing I'll like to get better at showing more emotion in my poem like Elizabeth Acevedo did in hers.
